Using Sanguine
A clear place for the day ahead
Plan familiar routines, keep useful records and choose who can help.
Start with your own daily view
- Create an account and choose the personal daily view.
- Save your preferred name, timezone and reading choices.
- Open Manage routines. Add a title, time and any notes you need.
- Leave Schedule on Every day, or create a weekday schedule first.
- Return to your day and mark a task done when you complete it.
Inactive tasks and schedules stay in your records and do not appear in Today.
Connect a caregiver
- The caregiver creates a separate account and chooses the caregiver workspace.
- They request access using the email on the personal account.
- The account owner opens Caregiver access from their daily view.
- The owner checks the requester’s name and email, chooses editing and activity permissions, and approves.
- The caregiver refreshes their workspace to see the approved account.
You can end access from the same page. A saved contact alone does not grant access. Requests stay inside Sanguine; an email invitation is not sent.
What each part does
- Daily routines
- Tasks and scheduled times for each day. These are displayed in the app.
- Medication records
- Existing instructions and times you enter. These records do not automatically create routine tasks or send notifications.
- Messages
- Messages between the account owner and approved caregivers. Open Messages and refresh to see new replies.
- Check-ins
- A record of someone choosing “I’m doing well.” Approved caregivers with activity permission can see it.
- Contacts and photos
- Useful phone numbers and email addresses, plus photos added by HTTPS image address.
Review and keep your records
Open Activity history from your daily view or an approved caregiver workspace. Filter completions and check-ins by day, activity type or words in the saved task title. New completions retain their task title; older records may not have one.
In Messages, search the conversation, show unread received messages, or mark a message read. Read status changes only when the recipient chooses it.
From Account Settings, choose Download my records to save a JSON copy of your own records and messages. This does not download shared care accounts or the image files behind photo addresses.
Caregivers can withdraw a pending request or leave an approved care account from Caregiver access.
When something needs attention
If saving fails, keep the page open and retry. A saved confirmation means the record was accepted. Refresh to check for updates from another person.
Sanguine does not monitor emergencies, dispatch help, or send background inactivity and medication alerts. Open tasks do not establish whether someone is safe.
Account deletion currently requires a request to the team. Paid-plan activation is not available during this development preview.
